BUFFALO CITY METRO

 Individual Athlete Programme (IAP):

There are currently 15 IAP Athletes in the Buffalo City Metro District.This program provides scientific, life skills and athlete support to nominated elite athletes. The criteria for acceptance onto the programme are at least provincial colours, with the prospect of a medal at national/international level.

 

Buffalo City Metro High Performance Hubs :

 

King Williams Town Sprinting Hub:

The King Williams Town Sprinting Hub is based in King Williams Town in the Buffalo City Metro District.

A total of 20 athletes forms part of the King Williams Town Sprinting Hub.

The group of sprinters train 3 times a week at the ECAS Buffalo City Metro District Academy Gym under the guidance of Coach Briam Felix and ECAS Strength and Conditioning Specialists Mr Praveshan Naidoo

 

 

BCM Cricket Hub:

The Border Cricket Academy is based in the Buffalo City Metro District.

A total of 10 athletes forms part of the Border Cricket Academy.

The group of players train 3 times a week at the ECAS Buffalo City Metro District Academy Gym under the supervision of Cricket Coach and

and ECAS Strength and Conditioning Specialists Mr Praveshan Naidoo

 

 

Border Swimming Hub:

The Swimming Hub is based in the Buffalo City Metro District.

A total of 10 athletes (5 males and 5 females) aged between 13-18 years forms part of the Swimming Hub.

The group of swimmers each have individual Coaches.

The Swimming Squad train  4 times a week at the ECAS Buffalo City Metro District Academy Gym under the supervision of ECAS Strength and Conditioning Specialists Mr Praveshan Naidoo
